Fave Art Friday: Week 6
Disney Lorcana | Azurite Sea
Welcome to Fave Art Friday, the series where we go through all cards in an expansion (announced/ available at the time of writing) and determine our favourite 10 and try to put them in order!
The series does not take into account a card's rarity, value or input in a game - we're just giving our opinion on the artwork.
If you haven't already, check out the Azurite Sea products that we've got on offer - the Illumineer's Trove is worth getting if you haven't already!
So, without any delay, let's get started on The Card Table's countdown of the top 10 best art cards from Disney Lorcana Azurite Sea:
Number 10 - Maleficent's Staff

This is very different to most other cards in this expansion - dark, gloomy and very fitting of Maleficent, even the background is a much darker gold than other Enchanted cards! It's not as detailed as it could have been, but still a nice card all the same.
Number 9 - Daisy Duck

Daisy Duck holds a special place in our hearts - it was in our first EVER Disney Lorcana pack! We love how they've kept her original look, but kitting her out in a pirate outfit that's fitting of this set!
Number 8 - We Could Be Immortals

One of Disney's most underrated films, and one of our favourites! We Could Be Immortals encompasses all of the protagonists from Big Hero 6 and it works really well!
Number 7 - The Islands I Pulled From The Sea

Everyone's favourite Demi-God, the artist has captured Maui really well here. We love the tiny details and the clever shading - it looks like it could easily have been pulled straight out of the film!
Number 6 - Rafiki Ethereal Guide

Who doesn't love Rafiki? Nothing else needs to be said!
Number 5 - Yzma Conniving Chemist

The rainbow background on Yzma looks amazing when you have the card in your hand, photos don't do it justice! Definitely more sinister than most other cards on this list, we just love the colours.
Number 4 - Raya Kumandran Rider

Although Kumandra is a fictional place, the design of this card certainly makes it clear that it's inspired by Southeast Asia. We love the details, especially in the background and the lack of empty space! A worthy number 4.
Number 3 - You Came Back

We really wanted this Lilo & Stitch card to end up higher on our list, but in our eyes, there's no beating 1st and 2nd place in this set.
You Came Back brilliantly captures the vibe at the end of the 1st Lilo & Stitch movie, again another very cute Enchanted card from this set.
Number 2 - Tigger In The Crow's Nest

If our number 1 wasn't so cute, this Tigger card would have been a worthy winner.
Unlike some of the other cards on this list, Tigger isn't a very detailed design, with not much in the background, or much shading, but the scene-setting at the front is really nice and, most importantly, classic Tigger!
Number 1 - Baymax Personal Healthcare Companion
We have a soft spot for Big Hero 6, and Baymax is a huge reason for that. This card captures his innocence and cuteness in a great way - while also making it a really cool looking card!
